Skyrim Walkthrough: Bleak Falls Barrow
Skyrim Walkthrough: Bleak Falls Barrow So far the quests have been simple ones where you essentially have travelled from one town to another and sought out some character. This quest is the first true 'dungeon' quest and as such is the first real test of your character.

The one thing that has impressed me with Skyrim is the amazing graphics. I have a fairly high powered PC and am able to have the setting on High – at this level I am stunned by the little touches and by the atmosphere the game sets. I simply cannot imagine what the grpahics are like on the top setting! From what I've seen of the PS3 and XBOX 360 versions, the graphics are similar to the PC on High setting, with perhaps a few minor flaws and not quite the same level of detail!

Skyrim Walkthrough: Alduin's Wall For your next quest you’re going to need a horse as you have to travel far southwest to Sky Haven Temple. There aren’t any close towns to get a wagon to, so you’ll simply have to put up with the random encounters along the way – you can run from these, but you should take the time to gain the extra experience while you can.

The first quest you complete is basically a tutorial that allows you to learn some of the basics of combat, equipment usage, potion usage and lock-picks. It's not too difficult, and you should use the opportunity to search everything and discard any items you find. Spend some time getting used to the weapons and movement controls as they will become more important the deeper you get into the game.

Skyrim Walkthrough: The Horn of Jurgen Windcaller As I write the walkthroughs for Elder Scrolls 5 Skyrim I am beginning to realize that Skyrim is one of the most rounded PC RPG games I have come across. I’m finding the days of creating the meanest warrior with the biggest sword and strongest armor are gone and I really have to think as I improve my character.

1 commentCivilization 5 hints and tips: combat strategy
Combat is perhaps the biggest area in which Civilization has changed. Gone are the days of creating super stacks and zooming them around your nation wherever needed. In fact, many Avalon Hill fans will love the new combat system as it’s very similar to the old Avalon hill games which were excellent hex based strategy games.
