Best PC Games under $10

In this economy we can’t all go out and spend $60 on the latest video games, therefore it’s wonderful to know that there are many great games available in the budget market for less than $10 including an exciting new game called Magicka.

I’ve always scoured the budget market so I can pick up games I didn’t want to fork out full price for. Here are some of the current games that you can get for under $10 for the PC – they all are well worth the price! Note that some of the prices are discounted now so may move above $10 at a later date.

Magicka – if you’re looking for a good action RPG game that is jam packed full of humor and makes fun of the whole RPG gaming genre, then Magicka is for you. Featuring good graphics, a decent plot, interesting sounds and a varied and fun game play, this game out sold Dead Space 2, and for less than $10 you simply can’t go wrong – it’s the type of game that is addictive, but it’s also one you’ll keep on coming back too when you’re stuck on some of the more expensive games.

The Dream Voyagers – If you like Hidden Object games, then The Dream Voyagers is a must for you. With a price less than $10 (currently on sale for $3.49) it has all the standard features you’d expect from a decent hidden object game. With excellent graphics, atmospheric sounds and some intriguing bonus levels, this game is a great diversion on a cold winter’s night.

Age of Empires Collector’s edition – if you’ve never played this empire creating game, then buy this edition – for less than $10 the set Includes: Age of Empires; Age of Empires Rise of Rome Expansion;Age of Empires II : Age of Kings Gold Edition;Age of Empires II Conquerors Expansion. Enjoy the ability to create your own history as you race to discover new technologies and move your empire from the Stone Age to the Imperial Age. Scrabble Champions Edition – this computerized version of the classic word game takes you to the next level with excellent AI and 8 levels for you to play against. Through in head to head battles and timed puzzle games and you really have a great package all for less than $10.

Two Worlds Epic Edition – if you are looking for a very good RPG game that features deep quests, very good graphics and challenging game play then go no further than the Two World Epic Edition. While admittedly not as good as the Dragon Age series, this very good game has plenty of intrigue and with the decent graphics and sound is an excellent budget game – grab it while you can at the amazingly cheap price of $3.95 – normal price is $20.

Dead Space – with Dead Space 2 just hitting the PC screens, this stunning game has been heavily discounted and can be found for less than $10. Dead Space has become very well respected in the action-adventure genre. You play Isaac Clarke and have to face a horde of aliens using weapons and telekinesis. With a decent storyline, great graphics and sound – this game is really put together well and a lot of thought has been put into delivering an atmospheric and surprisingly well acted game – definitely worth it at $10.

Hoyle Card Games 2008 – there’s no doubt that Hoyle are the best at making card games for the PC. This package has more than 75 card games including: Texas Hold¿em, Hearts, Bridge, Crazy Eights, Gin Rummy, Omaha Hold¿em, Pinochle, Rummy 500. If you can’t find a game that you like then you’re not a card game fan! It’s an excellent collection that will keep you happy for months!

The Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind – there’s no doubt that the Elder Scrolls series has set the standard for modern RPG games on the PC. With amazing graphics and sound and a great storyline it has become synonymous with quality. The game was really an in-depth game, with an open ended story – it set the standard that we all now expect and with the inclusion of the expansion packs you get several hundred hours of game play in a stunning world – this is a must for all RPG fans -and you get all this for under $10.

Antique Road Trip USA – this is yet another great hidden objects game that has fun and detailed graphics and decent story line and three different modes. In addiction it has 4 other types of puzzles. With an intriguing storyline and some fairly difficult puzzles this is an excellent addition to any hidden object lovers collection.

Cake Mania: To the Max! – this action oriented game where you have to create different types of cake to please every customer who walks through the door is strangely addictive. As you progress through the levels (over 100) and find more cake recipes, you get a great sense of achievement as you beat the clock again – great fun to pass a few hours playing this game.

Hitman Collection 4 Pack – this package includes all 4 Hitman games: Codename 47, Silent Assassin, Contracts, and Blood Money. Taking on the roll of an assassin in these adult only games is both fascinating and at times difficult. With decent graphics and sound, and intriguing plots you really get your money’s worth for $10.
