Top Toys for Christmas 2011: My Pillow Pets

You’ve no doubt seen the TV commercials for the My Pillow Pets. These cuddly soft toys also convert into large pillows that are both comfortable but also extremely snuggly – or at least that’s what the advertising tells us.

These extremely cute pillow toys come in a variety of different animal types, are machine washable and are suitable for children ages 3+. They are well made, and quite durable and stand up to long journeys in the car (or on an airplane) as well as sleepover pillow fights. The My Pillow Pets range is pretty vast and you should be able to find an animal that your child loves.

Be careful with them though, once you try them you’re going to have a petulant child crying when you won’t give them their pillow back – even though the cuteness may detract some, the pillows are very comfortable for adults as well.

The soft toy converts to a pillow quickly and easily and uses a Velcro closure that controls whether you have a pet or a pillow – over time the Velcro may need to be replaced though, especially if your child constantly plays with the ‘transformation’ process – other than that the My Pillow Pets are surprisingly durable.

This is definitely one of the cutest toys for Christmas 2010 and I would expect that there will be a high demand for them as you approach Christmas – so buy you’re My Pillow Pet early if you can!
