Skyrim Walkthrough: Finn's Lute

The beauty about games like Skyrim is that you’ll always find something new every time you play it. There’s so much scope to the game that you’ve probably missed quite a few quests, a stunning piece of scenery or a piece of treasure! Trying to achieve every goal in one game is practically impossible, so you’ll probably replay the game and pursue different avenues several times.

I often have a few saved games at key points so that I can make different choices and see where that leads me – I simply must know everything there is to know about the game! I’ve had the game over six weeks now and I’m still finding new things to do, it simply is a brilliant game with many surprises.

Once completing the Tending the Flames quest, talk to Inge Six Fingers. You will find out that she is sad because several years ago thieves stole her 8-course Lute (Finn’s Lute). She has found out that the thieves are located at Stony Creek Cave in south-eastern Eastmark.

You’ll find the entrance to the cave next to a small pond. Entering you’ll find a waterfall and a dead Breton. Move upstream and prepare to fight some Bandits. They are not particularly tough, but you could be overwhelmed by numbers so be prepared to use ranged attacks if possible.

At a fork in the path move right – there is a trap just before the chamber, so be careful. You’ll encounter the Bandit Leader. Fight the leader – it’s a pretty easy battle, but again if in difficulty move away and chip away with ranged attacks. Search te body and find a Treasure Map. Search the surrounding area to find some nice loot – in a chest you’ll find the Lute.

For experience you can search the rest of the cave and will fight a few more bandits – you’ll find a shortcut to Kagrenzel under a waterfall and some more decent loot.

Exit the way toy came in and go back to the college. Give the Lute to Inge Six Fingers. She’ll rais your Stealth skills by one.
