Sites that share Google Adsense Revenue

Google have built a business around advertising on the web, and with innovations such as Google Adsense have not only increased their revenue, but also allowed millions of people to share the wealth. The concept of Google Adsense is simple: create a content page and have context sensitive Ads placed by your text – any clicks on these ads will earn you income.

Sounds Easy right? If it was easy there’d be a lot of millionaire Google Adsense users, however, while many will make a small amount of money on Google Adsense, not many will actually earn a decent residual income from Adsense and even fewer will earn a full-time income using this program.

I am not going to write on how to maximize your Google Adsense revenue, as this goes into a lot of detailed Search Engine Optimization (SEO) of which I am not an expert, however I will list and review some of the sites that I have found have increase my Google Adsense:

Hubpages (To join click here)

Hubpages is one of my top Google Adsense earners. With the simple system that allows you to create rich web pages quickly and easily, and the power of the Hubpages SEO that seems to list many Hubs at the top of Google’s searches without you having to do any real work yourself, I find that I get decent traffic to my hubs and get decent Ads placed next to my own unique content.

It’s not easy though – like anything in life you have to work at it and create hubs that are not only well written and interesting, but are also on subjects that people really want to read about and find more information – while you may write a brilliant site on Final Fantasy XIII Cheats you’ll probably find that while you’ll get a lot of daily traffic to these hubs, you’re unlikely to get many clicks as people are visiting your hub to get cheats; however, create a hub on creating cartoons from pictures and you’ll probably get more clicks on your Ads as it is a little bit more generic.

Webanswers (to join click here, to find out more click here)

Webanswers is like Yahoo answers (or any of the other answer sites on the web). You can ask questions or answer questions for free; if you write the best answer to a question then you usually get ‘awarded’ the answer.

Webanswers is organized into categories so you can find questions in your area of expertise or you can simply answer questions as they come – either way it’s generally fun and there are some excellent questions available.

You can earn Google Adsense in three ways:

  • Awarded questions – for any awarded question you share the Google Adsense clicks with the person who wrote the question and Webanswers.
  • Un-awarded questions - for any un-awarded questions you share the Google Adsense clicks with the person who wrote the question, all people who answered questions and Webanswers.
  • Asking questions – you share the Google Adsense clicks with Webanswers and all people who answered the question (once you award an answer you only share it with Webanswers and the awarded answer).

The great thing about Webanswers is that the best rewards come to those who work really hard. There’s a secret score called the quality score that is roughly based on how active you are on the site as well as how good your answers are (taking into account length, quality of answer, grammar and spelling).

What I have found is that the more active I am the higher the Google Adsense income I get – some people earn up to $400 a month using Webanswers.

Excerptz.com (To join click here)

Excerptz is a brand new site that offers you the ability to create 400+ word articles and then link them to your other website or article. It is one of the easier directory / sub-article sites to you and so far is one of the best sites to add backlinks to - I've had quite a lot of traffic through this site.

There is also a free directory where you can add listings to your business. This site is designed by Hubpages own Ryankett. It looks very professional and as Ryankett is a professional marketer, the SEO is excellent and traffic does seem to be flowing from this site - look for this site to grow over the next year or two and probably become one of the best online backlinking resources.

Adsense impression share: Excerptz 20% you 80%)

(If you join using the above link I will NOT earn any revenue).

Xomba (To join click here)

Xomba is a combination of a content site and a social link sharing site.

You have the ability to write unique articles on Xomba that have the potential to be featured on the front pages of their site as well as often being listed highly on Google. The focus is more on articles rather than the full multi-media hubs you can create on Hubpages, but there are some formatting options available.

In addition to this you can also add bookmarks or links to your favorite sites or even to your Hubpages. You are then able to write a comment about the site hopefully gaining traffic to that site.

Google Ads are placed next to your articles and links.

Adsense impression share: Xomba 50% you 50%

(If you join using the above link I will earn revenue).

Blogger (To join click here)

Blogger is a Google owned blogging site that allows you to create and run your own blog. There are no restrictions on the subjects you can write on, although any blogs of an adult nature must have a blogger ‘pre-warning’ enabled – also Google Adsense Terms of Service are very strict and do not allow adult content.

Blogger is potentially the biggest source of Adsense revenue as you get all the impressions and revenue for any Ad that appears. If you work hard and create a relevant blog that gets a lot of traffic then you can earn a lot. Again, the same principle applies though – writing a site that people visit to get information is not likely to get you many clicks – blogs that are on a particular subject (example Top 10 iPod Apps [Link]) are more likely to get clicks as the Ads will be related to the iPod and/or available applications.

Adsense impression share: you 100%

(If you join using the above link I will NOT earn any revenue).

Shetoldme (To join click here)

Out of the sites I list, Shetoldme is my least successful Google Adsense money maker! It’s a similar site to Xomba and allows you to either create articles or provide links, but I’ve found that unless you get an article on the front page then the pages don’t show up that highly on Google and therefore will not get you much traffic.

Having said that, I have had a couple of articles that have been successful on Shetoldme, and as they say ‘Every penny counts’.

Adsense impression share: Shetoldme 40% you 60%)

(If you join using the above link I will earn revenue).

Others

There are many more websites that offer a share of Adsense income including sites like Helium; however what I’ve found is that if I have to many ‘sources’ I tend to dilute my work and reduce the impressions I get – I’ve also noticed that some of the returns on the other sites are simply not worth the effort. The sites above are the ones that work for me – you may find other sites that work better for you, my only advice is not to join every Google Adsense site out there – it simply doesn’t work well.

Shetoldme's main benefit is not supposed to be revenue sharing. It is to bookmark your links for your money sites. The fact that you may earn some money while building links is just a possible benefit.

A great list thank you.

Good list!

Take caution at WebAnswers. A whole bunch of innocent people had their accounts disabled by Google and their earnings stolen, recently. (There are several hubs about it here.)

I had a similar problem, which may have been attributed to Triond. But, no one really knows. Google sometimes just shuts your account down right before they're supposed to pay you and gives no reason.

Good luck! Don't expect too much from AdSense though. They have a bad reputation.
