Sexy Men of Sport

The world of sports brings us some many talented athletes who show us the meaning of determination, aggression and a desire to win. More than that though, sports also presents us with some very articulate, charming and hunky men.

While I am a straight guy, I can admit my short-comings and see that the men highlighted in this site are some of the most attractive and sexy guys in the world. With the combination of great bodies, stunning good looks and in many cases a humble attitude, they exude sexiness and I am sure that most women will agree.

While researching this page I was stunned by the number of sexy men in sports; I quite literally could have listed hundreds of sports stars and still had a few thousand left off. The men I have chosen are not only hunks, but they are all great ambassadors for their sports.

David Beckham is probably the most famous sports star in the world, and he’s also been listed as the sexiest sports star, but he optimizes the qualities that each of these stars have. They are dedicated to their sport, but more so are dedicated on promoting their sport, seeking the best for the grass roots of the sport and also helping those in need to achieve what they can in life. They are all amazing men who are often selfless in their pursuit of charity and comfort for those in need.

Well he’s a multiple world record holder and an Olympic Gold medalist – he has an amazing body and dashing good looks that are more reminiscent of some of the old British Hollywood stars, and he’s an awfully nice guy too! If swimming isn’t your sport, you should still watch the Olympics just to get a glimpse at this hunk!

The one thing about Olympic Swimmers, or any Olympic athlete for that matter, is that they have to be incredibly fit and cut, and there's no doubt that Ryan Lochte takes his sports seriously as he does have an incredibly cut body!

If this site was about brains then I probably wouldn’t be listing Lane – this man simply has brawn! He’s tall blond and hot, and if he was a woman he’d probably be the perfect dumb blond! As a coach he’s one of the top men, so he can’t really be that dumb can he, but not only is he hot, but he also shares the first name with my Grandson!

There are so many soccer players that could appear on this list (See FIFA World Cup 2010: sexiest players) for just a few; Ronaldo is arguably one of the best soccer players in the world, but his looks and body are what many women swoon over. He has a very cute face that is almost boyish and makes him very endearing, but when he celebrates a goal by removing his shirt, you really see that he is a man!

Love him or hate him, Tom Brady is not only a superb quarterback, but he’s also got those amazing Hollywood good looks that probably will see him following in the footstep of OJ Simpson – career wise that is! What I really like about this hunk is the fact that he is very humble and never takes himself seriously.

This man has one of the most chiselled faces I have ever seen in sports. He has the kind of look that would look great in an action movie; he's an amazing soccer player, but with his smoldering looks and athletic body, which has been featured in a Calvin Klein advert, he definitely is one of the hottest men in the world of sports.

In the grueling sport of Formula One racing tempers often flare as male testosterone seems to flow from everyone’s veins. However, this quiet Englishmen seems to keep his anger in check and is a gentleman on and off the track.  With his women smile and his dashing good looks he is also one of the sexier drivers in Formula One.

Great soccer player, probably the most famous sports star in the world and he’s got a ‘cheeky’ face that is hard to define – he’s good looking, but there’s a sort of sparkle in his eyes. Add to this that he has one of the best bodies in sport and he’s definitely high on most hunkilishess lists. With his quaint English accent, and almost apologetic ways you almost want to hang him on your mirror instead of those furry dice.

With boyish good looks, muscle bound arms, athleticism that puts us all to shame and a smile that even Tom Cruise would be happy with, Andy Roddick has it all – he also has an abundance of charm that make him another tennis player that hits the list of sexiest sport men!

Well if you were speeding around a track in a NASCAR bullet you’d be hot – Carl not only gets hot in the car, but also is incredibly hot. With a superb body, nearly good enough to beat out Beckham, and dashing good looks he is not only one of the best drivers in NASCAR but also one of the sexiest.

I’ve had a lot of arguments at work over this one. Derek Jeter is not only ‘the boy next door’ but he is an amazing ambassador for Baseball. Add to this his sexy face and alluring smile and you really have a great overall package that really makes ladies melt!

So tennis isn’t that popular a sport with the women, but if they checked out some of the hunks playing the game they’d probably change their minds! Rafeal Nadal is an amazing athlete and has the body to show it. His dusty good looks really set him aside in tennis, and make him almost look like a Greek God as he struts his stuff on the tennis court. However, he is one of the most humble and gentle men in sports, and aside from his looks, his ‘niceness’ makes him even more attractive!

Well being World Number one for so long marks Federer as being one of the best sportsmen of all time, but his quiet and humble attitude together with his ‘boy next door’ look give him a sexiness that kind of creeps up on you.
