Halloween Costumes for Adults

While the children spent their day trick or treating in their Sponge Bob or Harry Potter outfits and undoubtedly managed to get too much candy, many parents are getting ready for their own Halloween party.

Surprisingly, many of the children’s costumes have an alternative for adults, and are sure to spice up any adult Halloween party. Here are some Halloween costumes for the ladies (and a suitable costume for the men):

Witch Costume / Wizard

There’s nothing better, in my opinion, than the wicked witch of the west. Cast a dastardly spell over the man you love with this costume that would definitely get Hermione Granger blushing. Dress your man up as Harry Potter, or even Dumbledore and you’ll be the eye-catching couple of the party.

French Maid

There’s nothing nicer than a French Maid outfit, with the short skirt, the white top and the French stockings! And for the man, go as a good old English Gentleman and you’ll be the envy of every other man at the party.

Nurse

This is one of my personal favorite Halloween costumes; there’s something so cool about a nurse, with the pristine white top, perhaps a stethoscope to check my heart beat that is sure to be fast, and a handy thermometer to check that my temperature is soring! As the man, you have a choice – you can be a dashing doctor, or a sorely injured patient (even a fully fledged Mummy!) – whatever you are, be carefully your spouse doesn’t cause too many cardiac arrests.

Policewoman

When it comes to Halloween costumes, the Policewoman outfit is one of the finest. There’s just something terribly wild about a woman in uniform – perhaps it’s the power she has over the man, or the fact that she can use her hand-cuffs to full effect, no matter what it is, she’ll always capture my heart. As a man you can also dress-up in a policeman outfit, or perhaps even more fun is to become a thief or burglar and have your wife chase and arrest you at the party – let the punishment commence.

Teacher

With the prim and proper look that perhaps hides a wilder side, the Teacher Halloween costume is a wonderful Halloween costume! Whether the man is the head master or a school boy, you are sure to be punished by the wicked hand of the female teacher.

School Girl

There is no doubt that a School Girl outfit will get all the men hot and bothered. With a tight ‘busting’ top, a short skirt, a tie and some stockings, this school girl is sure to be punished by the head-master for her bad behavior.

Nun

Perhaps it’s the fact that a Nun isn’t usually available as a companion for a man, but the Nun outfit is a very fun Halloween costume. Perhaps it’s the fact that behind the Nun’s outfit, that often covers all, the Nun could be stunning! As the pastor, priest or a simple man visiting a Nun, you can have a lot of fun with this Halloween costume.

Vampire Costume

One of the more dangerous Halloween costumes by far is the Vampire Costume. Perhaps it’s the danger of having your blood sucked, or the promise of violence that makes the Vampire so delightfully daring! As a man, you can dress up as Dracula, or as a ‘willing’ victim ready to get his neck bitten to sate her appetite!

Conclusion

Dressing up for Halloween is extremely fun, and can really make a man and a woman feel good about themselves – however it should be noted that using any costume must only be taken as fun and in no way gives anyone the right to violate a person’s rights – treat all people wearing these costumes with the respect you would any other costume! Now go out and enjoy yourself!
