As you enter this battle Caius will buff himself up, so start off with the SAB/RAV/SEN paradigm and try and remove as many of the buffs as you can. Boost your party while doing this and try and cast poison at the same time. Preparation is key in this battle and taking a little extra time to get it right will pay off at the end.
Make sure your health remains high and switch to RAV/RAV/RAV to build up the stagger – once staggered switch straight to COM/COM/COM to inflict as much damage as you can - you will probably have to repeat this process once or twice.
Caius will re-buff once he is down to about 25% health – you have a couple of options now:

Make sure you have the following paradigms prepared:
- SAB/RAV/SEN
- RAV/RAV/RAV
- COM/COM/COM
General guide:
- Start with SAB/RAV/SEN to debuff, buff and poison
- Use RAV/RAV/RAV to stagger
- Switch to COM/COM/COM to do maximum damage.
- Use RAV/RAV/RAV to stagger again
- Switch to COM/COM/COM to do maximum damage.
- Use SAB/RAV/SEN to debuff, RAV/RAV/RAV to stagger and COM/COM/COM to finish the battle.
- Use RAV/RAV/RAV to stagger and COM/COM/COM to finish him off.
- Go for the all out attack with COM/COM/COM and hope you can finish the fight quickly.
Option 3 is good but risky - you might want to ensure victory using option 2.

Thanks!! This system worked on my first attempt. The only change I did, was to use a potion during the middle. Whether or not that was needed, I don't know.
