Avatar the game: review, hints and tips.

A lacklustre game
Ubisoft usually produce decent games, but for once haven’t managed to bring the magic to this game. With a superb movie playing in the theaters, Ubisoft had the chance to make Avatar and exciting and challenging game.
The game is a mediocre third person shooter, and while there are some interesting parts, it generally becomes mundane and boring.
Taking place in the wonderful world of Pandora where the human controlled Resources Development Agency are stripping the planet of its resources. The Na’vi, the indigenous species of the planet are not too happy about this. You play Ryder (you have a choice to become and avatar (human/NA’vi hybrid) or stay as a human thus deciding which side you are on) and soon begin to learn the damage that the humans are doing and the consequences of their actions.
The game meanders a little and does nothing to inspire; it assumes that you already know all about the nature of avatars and does nothing to explain the idiosyncrasies.
The graphics are generally vey good as are the sound effects, but the combination of weak story with lackluster NPCs make this a game to miss, or at least wait until it hits the discount shelves.
Cheats
So far no cheats have surfaced for this game; that's not to say there aren't any. As the game isn't overly difficult it may be that no one has tried to find them yet! As soon as they do surface I will post them here. However, there are a lot of walkthrough videos which I post below:
(I do note that there are 'trainers' available from various resources, but I am always wary of downloading content from the web).
