As a professional computer analyst for a large accountancy firm I have learnt about technical writing and how to create informative and relevant instructional books for internal reference. My knowledge of both accounting and computers has enhanced my ability to problem solve in a difficult environment.
As an online content writer I combine my work ethic, my professional skills and personal interests to provide a cornucopia of articles covering many different and diverse subjects.

My Hubpages Experience:
I joined Hubpages three years ago after writing on several other content sites. Having had some experience online I was able to produce a couple of quality articles and came second in a 'competition' focusing on new writers on HubPages. I like to think that I have the ability to produce very good content but do freely admit that the learning curve is high and even after 450+ articles on HubPages I am still learning new techniques.
Throughout the years I have won a couple of daily entries in the HubPages competitions, with my greatest success being the winning entry in the recent Clogs to Coins Contest:

My Professional Experience:
I currently work as a manager in the finance department of a very large accountancy firm. I use my knowledge of computers and accountancy to create reports, databases and MS Excel models that assist upper management.
I have 25 years experience working in finance and accounting departments.

My Home Life:
I am happily married with twin girls, two dogs and three cats. I love all aspects of computing, read a lot and spend some time writing poetry and short stories.
When not spending time with friends and family you'll find me watching sports or my favorite TV series.
